For autistic and neurodivergent job seekersand the people who support them
The job search that adapts to you, and never asks what you are.
Every interview question visible before you start, and no timer. The same jobs as everyone, in the same order. Free, and no diagnosis is ever asked for.
No diagnosis askedAges 13 and upEvery kind of job
The real switches. They work here.
These change this page, right now, in this browser only. In the app, the same switches are saved to your account and apply everywhere, and they are never sent to an employer.
One tap
Watch a job search become yours.
An example of Futureful at its most supportive. One step at a time. A job in plain words. An interview you answer by typing, talking or choosing. Nothing timed, nothing scored, nothing hidden.
Behind this card: a typical job site.
One tap. About three seconds. Nothing saved.
- Built for the highest support needs
- Works the same on a phone
- This showcase saves nothing about you
What we will never do
Eight promises, enforced in code.
Each one is a rule the product is built around, not a line in a policy. Here is what every one of them means in practice.
- Never ask for a diagnosis
No question, no box, no guess.
- Never screen or score you
No screening test, no autism questionnaire, no hidden test. The interest assessment matches careers to you. It never becomes a score about you.
- Never guess from your behavior
How fast, how often, what time: none of it is read into you.
- Never put you on a clock
No timer in practice. No countdown on anything.
- Never show an employer your settings
They see the words you chose to send. Nothing else.
- Never take a job away
Same jobs as everyone, same order. No separate shelf.
- Never keep what you delete
You delete it yourself. No reason asked.
- Never coach you to seem less like yourself
Confidence, warmth, eye contact, tone: not measured.
What we do keep: your email, your birth date for the age check, and what you type into your own account. Not medical information, and we are not a health provider. Still never sold, never shared for advertising, never used to train anything.
What happens when you start
Four steps. No surprise step.
You can stop at any one of them.
- Make an accountAn email and your birth date.
- Say what interests youAn interest inventory, not a test. No right answers, no score.
- See matched careers and live jobsSame jobs as everyone.
- Practice and apply, either orderNothing is required first.
Drawn exactly as it works today
Nothing to unlock. It is already on for everyone.
One tap shows every question before you start. Reading ahead costs nothing and changes nothing.
Feedback is about what you said. Pace, pauses and filler words are never stored and never part of the feedback.
Your side
- How the app looks for you
- The conditions you work best in
- What helps you in an interview
Changeable any time. Deletable by you, any time.
The employer side
Nothing, unless you write it, read it back, and send it yourself.
Same jobs, same order, either way.
Why we built it this way
The problem is in the process. The research says so.
Primary sources only, with the year and the group measured. The “85% unemployed” number that circulates everywhere traces to no study, so it is not here.
Style, not substance
First impressions of autistic adults turned negative within seconds of video or audio, and the difference disappeared when observers read only a transcript.
Sasson et al., Scientific Reports, 2017So, here: Typed answers count the same. The coach reads words, never voice.
Better questions, smaller gap
Clearer, more specific interview questions narrowed the rating gap between autistic and non-autistic candidates. 50 participants.
Maras et al., Autism, 2021So, here: You see every question before you start. No timer.
Disclosure has a price
In 6,016 real applications, disclosing a disability brought 26% fewer expressions of employer interest.
Ameri et al., NBER, 2015So, here: Nothing you set can reach an employer. Whether to say anything is yours.
Most autistic young adults had not worked for pay
58% of autistic young adults had ever worked for pay between high school and their early 20s, the lowest of any group studied. National cohort, interviewed 2009.
A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, 2015So, here: Free, no gate, no diagnosis. Built for the years before leaving school.
The gap is wide
In 2025, 22.8% of people with a disability were employed, against 65.2% without. All disabilities, 16 and over.
U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2025So, here: You see the whole job index, in the same order as everyone else.
Asking usually costs nothing
61% of accommodations employers reported cost nothing; the rest had a median one-time cost of $300. Employer surveys, 2019 to 2024.
Job Accommodation Network, 2025So, here: What you might ask for is ordinary. The words are yours.
Live demo, no account
Walk through the real product with Calm the screen already on.
A demo account named Rowan, on real live jobs, with the same AI the product uses. It resets when you leave.
For job seekers
You do not have to perform to be taken seriously here.
Job searching while autistic is hard, and it is not because of you. No diagnosis needed, ever. Diagnosed at six, at forty-six, or never: it works the same.
For parents and guardians
The account belongs to them. The safety belongs to you.
No diagnosis, IEP or record is asked for or stored. It works the same whether your child is 13 or 40.
Can anyone contact my child?
Under 18, no employer can message them through Futureful. Employer contact goes to you, and you say yes before anything is shared.
No points, levels, badges or reminder emails for minors.
This week
- 1. Sit beside them while they make the account. They type.
- 2. Let them press “See all questions first” in practice. Let the answers be theirs.
- 3. Look at three real openings together. Real work, early, beats any drill.
For teachers, counselors and IEP teams
A transition plan with a real job market behind it.
Free, no diagnosis, the student owns it. Nothing from an education record is needed, so nothing protected leaves the school.
Where it fits
- Job exploration: interest assessment, matched careers, live openings.
- Workplace readiness: interview practice, questions first, no timer.
- Self-determination: the student sets the goals and decides who sees what.
- Interagency: works alongside state VR and Pre-ETS, never instead of them.
Measurable postsecondary goals by 16: 34 CFR 300.320(b).
For nonprofits, programs and workforce partners
The same job market as everyone, for the people you serve.
Free for every seeker you refer. Honest program visibility for staff. A partner that refuses the data it should never hold.
For a referral decision
- No diagnosis field exists. Nothing screens, scores or labels a person.
- Stated preferences live in a table the employer side cannot read.
- Collected: an email, a birth date, what the person types.
- We never ingest an IEP, VR, benefits or medical record, from anyone.
- Maps to Pre-ETS job exploration and workplace readiness, 34 CFR 361.48(a)(2). Cost to the individual: $0. Cost to your program: $0.
- To refer someone: send them the link. They make their own account, and your staff see their progress only once they connect it to your program.

Plain answers
Before you start.
Do I have to say I am autistic, or have a diagnosis?
No. Futureful never asks and never guesses. There is no box for it. Every feature is on for every account.
Does an employer see what I set?
No. Your settings live behind a wall built into the database. The systems employers use have no permission to read them. An employer only sees words you wrote and chose to send.
Do I have to tell an employer I am autistic?
No. That is your choice, on your timeline, and Futureful never nudges you either way. In the United States, the Americans with Disabilities Act says most employers may not ask disability-related questions before a job offer.
Does this change which jobs I see?
No. You see every job, in the same order as everyone else. No separate track, no shelf.
Is it free?
Yes, for job seekers, at every age. The paying side of Futureful is employers, never you. The wall exists so they cannot buy your information either.
Can a teenager use it?
Yes, from 13. No sensitive data is required, employer contact for a minor goes through a guardian, a minor's information is never shared with an employer, and minors never get reminder emails.
I am a parent. Can I see my child's account?
Under 18, you can follow their progress with their permission. The account belongs to your child. For an adult, the account is theirs alone. You cannot read their settings, and neither can we on their behalf.
Who can contact my child?
Under 18, no employer can message them through Futureful. At sign-up a student gives a guardian email, you say yes before anything is shared, and employer interest comes to you.
Who runs Futureful, and how is it free?
Futureful is built by a team in the United States and is free for job seekers at every age. Employers pay to hire, which is what funds it. Our About page says who we are.
Where is AI used?
Interview practice feedback and the wording of your plan are written by an AI. Every number on Futureful is computed by code, never by the AI. The AI never scores you as a person.
Will this get me hired?
We do not promise a result, and you should distrust anyone who does. We change the parts of the process we control, listed on this page. We cannot see inside an employer's hiring process.
How do I know a job is real?
You never pay for anything here. No real employer asks you to pay to apply, to pay for training before you are hired, or to send money to get paid. If a job asks for money, it is a scam. Close it.
If today is hard: you can call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States. It is free, it is open all day and all night, and a real person answers. This page will still be here.
Start when you are ready.
Free. No card. Nothing to disclose, nothing to unlock.
