Who we are
Finding a real job shouldn’t cost money, or feel like a maze. So we fixed both.
Futureful is a free site from the nonprofit Small Manufacturers’ Institute. It’s open to everyone: students and grads, people changing careers, veterans, anyone ready for a real, paid job in any field. Nothing here is locked or paywalled. It costs nothing, and it always will. Built in San Pedro, California.
You fill out a short profile in one sitting. A few guided questions that change based on your answers, scored on a real U.S. Department of Labor test, the O*NET Interest Profiler. No AI makes up who you are. Your profile meets millions of real jobs nationwide, updated every day, pulled straight from employers’ own systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workday) and the biggest live job networks (Google for Jobs, Jooble, Adzuna, The Muse, and more). Come up just short of a job? You’ll see the one thing you’re missing, and real, public places you can go to learn it.
That profile powers a real toolkit: a Game Plan that maps bridge jobs and real nearby schools, a résumé studio that checks your resume the way screening software actually reads it, interview practice that quotes your own answers back to you, and a match engine where AI explains the score but never sets it. One free account, and you can see everything you get.
