How Futureful worker reviews work
Futureful shows first-party reviews from people who actually worked somewhere — to help the next person decide where to start a career. Here is exactly how we collect, verify, moderate, and display them. These are the practices we enforce in our system, not aspirations.
First-party only — never scraped, never bought
Every review comes directly from a signed-in person describing their own first-hand experience with an employer. We do not copy, scrape, license, or import reviews from Glassdoor, Indeed, Comparably, Blind, Levels, kununu, or any third-party site. We never write reviews ourselves, and we never pay for, incentivize, or condition anything on leaving a review or on its rating.
Honest, two-sided reviews
A review must include both something that worked and something that didn't (each at least a sentence), so no one-sided post can be filed. You choose your ratings across six workforce categories — onboarding, schedule, training, entry-friendliness, advancement, and pay-versus-promise — and rate only the ones you can speak to.
Moderation before anything appears
No review is published automatically. Each one is held for human moderation and is only shown after it is approved. Moderators set a status and log their decision; they never edit the words of a review. We remove reviews that are not genuine first-hand experiences, that identify a specific individual, that contain protected-class or unlawful content, or that violate this policy.
Your identity is kept private, but retained
Your name is never shown on a review. We keep your account link to the review privately (identity-in-escrow) so that reviews stay accountable and duplicate or fraudulent submissions can be prevented and disputes resolved. We do not sell reviewer identities, and we disclose them only where we are legally required to.
Connections are labeled
If you tell us you are connected to the employer (owner, manager, recruiter, or family), we label the review accordingly. We do not present material connections as if they were independent experiences.
Scores appear only with enough reviews
A Verified Worker Experience score is shown only once an employer has at least five approved reviews. Below that threshold we show that reviews are being collected — never a score inferred from one or two voices. The worker-experience score is its own measure and is never blended into an employer's overall hiring grade.
The employer's right to reply and to dispute
An employer may submit one response to an approved review; responses are themselves moderated before they appear and are shown as the employer's reply. Anyone may dispute a review they believe is fake or a policy violation, and we will re-review it. We do not remove a review simply because an employer dislikes it.
Corrections and removal
You may ask us to correct or remove your own review. To report a review or raise a dispute, contact info@futureful.app.
This policy describes our review practices and is not legal advice. We may update it as the review program grows; material changes will be reflected here.
